Youth Swimming Lessons (Ages 5 - 12)

Youth Swimming Lessons (Ages 5 - 12)

SWIM BASICS Y2: Water Movement & Y3: Water Stamina (AGES 5 – 12)

Has your child never taken swim lessons before or need a refresher on the basics of swimming? Swim basics is the perfect place to start!

Students learn personal water safety and achieve basic swimming competency by learning three benchmark skills:

  • Front crawl (arm circles + kicking)
  • Swim, float, swim—sequencing front glide, roll, back float, roll, front glide and exit
  • Jump, push, turn and grab

SWIM STROKES Y4: Stroke Introduction, Y5: Stroke Development, & Y6: Stroke Mechanics (AGES 5 – 12)

Having mastered the fundamentals, students learn additional water safety skills and build stroke technique, developing skills that prevent chronic disease, increase social-emotional and cognitive well-being and foster a lifetime of physical activity.
