Youth Volleyball
Spring 2025 – Junior Cougars Youth Volleyball!!!
*NEW*
We’re excited to announce some updates for our 2025 Spring Youth Volleyball season. Volleyball will now be held in the earlier, colder months, while Soccer will follow in the warmer months. We’re also proud to launch our new partnership with SIUE, introducing the Junior Cougars Youth Volleyball League. This collaboration will feature a reversible red and white jersey, displaying both the SIUE Junior Cougars and YMCA logos. Beyond the gear, this partnership aims to provide our young athletes with valuable opportunities to engage with the local university, enriching their experience both on and off the court! Additionally, we’ve listened to your feedback and have worked to address many of your inquiries. Stay tuned for more updates!
Recreational
Rocking a new look, this is an instructional league with an emphasis on fundamentals and equal playing time. There are 6 weeks of practices and 6 weeks of games. Games will be played on Saturday mornings and practice times will be offered as space and scheduling allows throughout the week!
Trophy
Rocking a new look, this is an enhanced competitive league for our 6th-8th graders who have prior volleyball experience. The league includes 6 weeks of practices, 5 weeks of regular season games, and a single elimination tournament in the 6th week to crown the champions. The champions will receive T-shirts and a trophy!!! Game play and rules will differ from the Recreational League, providing a more competitive experience to prepare players for their next steps in the sport. Games will be played on Saturday mornings, and practice times will be offered as space and scheduling allow throughout the week.
