“SHOOT 4 STATE”

On January 19th, 2026, you’ll be joining us at the Meyer Gymnasium, where teams of two will compete to score as many points as possible within 60 seconds. The courts will be set up with floor markers indicating each spot’s point value—so get ready to Shoot 4 the Stars!

A winning team will be crowned in each division—8 teams and 16 players in total will come out on top at this local competition. Once all Illinois YMCA locations finish their events, the top two highest-scoring teams across the state will move forward to compete in March 2025 at the state basketball championships.

Event Details: Meyer Center Gymnasium, January 19th, 2026 – 11am-1pm

Girls and Boys: All  age groups are welcome to come anytime between 11am-1pm (7/8, 9/10, 11/12, 13/14)

Girls Championships: Saturday, March 7, 2026 in Normal, IL

Boys Championships: Saturday, March 14, 2026 in Champaign, IL
