Friday Night Skate
Our themed skate nights turn a regular skate session into a fun, high-energy event for the whole family! Each event features a unique theme with themed music, decorations, games, and sometimes costumes to match. From throwbacks and pop nights to holiday and character themes, there’s always something new and exciting happening on the rink.
These special skate nights are perfect for families, friends, and groups looking for a fun night out. Lace up your skates, dress for the theme if you’d like, and enjoy a lively atmosphere full of music, lights, and skating fun. Check our schedule to see what theme is coming next!
Open Skate
Open skate is the perfect time for everyone to enjoy the rink! During open skate sessions, skaters of all ages and skill levels are welcome to come skate, listen to great music, and have a great time with family and friends.
Whether you’re practicing your moves, skating for fun, or just enjoying your evening, our open skate sessions offer a safe and exciting environment for everyone.
Grab your friends, hit the rink, and enjoy a classic skating experience!

Friday Night Family Skate Nights
Friday Night Family Skate at the YMCA!
Roll into the weekend with us every Friday from 4pm-8pm at the Edwardsville YMCA Meyer Center Skate Center! Each night features a fun new theme, plus games and activities for all ages.
Admission: $4 for members | $7 for non-members
Register online or walk-ins are welcome!
All skaters must enter through the Skate Center doors on the east side of the building!
Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult!
Bring your family, lace up your skates, and join the fun every Friday night!
