Youth Soccer
Fall 2026 – Edwardsville YMCA Youth Soccer!!!
PeeWee Soccer (Age 3)
This fun, introductory division is perfect for our youngest players! These kiddos will learn the basics of soccer through engaging activities and games in a supportive environment. PeeWee Soccer focuses on skill-building and small-sided games led by our Recreational Sports Staff on Wednesday evenings at the Meyer Center. Please note that this division does not include formal practices or scheduled games.
Youth League Divisions (Rookies, K – 8th Grade)
Our youth soccer leagues feature Friday evening practices and Saturday morning games, all held at Plummer Family Park, conveniently located near the Meyer Center. This program emphasizes individual skill development, soccer tactics, team strategies, and the “games approach” to learning soccer in a fun, team-oriented environment.
The Edwardsville YMCA depends on parents and volunteers to make our sports leagues possible. Please consider coaching your child’s team!
Registration closes August 16th – NO late registrations will be accepted, so don’t miss out on the fun!

PeeWee Soccer (Age 3)
Peewee Soccer (Fall 2026)
This introductory soccer class is designed just for 3-year-olds and is the perfect way to introduce your child to the game! Each week, participants will explore basic soccer movements, coordination, and foundational skills through fun and engaging activities.
Classes are led by the Director of Sports and Recreation along with YMCA Rec Sports staff, ensuring a positive and encouraging learning environment for every child.
Schedule: Wednesday evenings
Class Times: 5:00 – 5:45pm or 6:00 – 6:45pm
Length: 6-week session
Dates: September 9th – October 21st (NO Class on September 23rd)
Location: Meyer Center Grass Field (east side of building)
