Youth Soccer
Fall 2025 – Edwardsville YMCA Youth Soccer!!!
PeeWee Soccer (Age 3)
This fun, introductory division is perfect for our youngest players! These kiddos will learn the basics of soccer through engaging activities and games in a supportive environment. PeeWee Soccer focuses on skill-building and small-sided games led by our Recreational Sports Staff on Wednesday evenings at the Meyer Center. Please note that this division does not include formal practices or scheduled games.
Youth League Divisions (Rookies, K-8th Grade)
Our youth soccer leagues feature Friday evening practices and Saturday morning games, all held at Plummer Family Park, conveniently located near the Meyer Center. This program emphasizes individual skill development, soccer tactics, team strategies, and the “games approach” to learning soccer in a fun, team-oriented environment.
The Edwardsville YMCA depends on parents and volunteers to make our sports leagues possible. Please consider coaching your child’s team!
Registration closes August 10th—NO late registrations will be accepted, so don’t miss out on the fun!

Soccer Sponsorships (Fall 25' - Spring 26')
Hello!
My name is Nick Walker, and I am the Director of Sports and Recreation at the Edwardsville YMCA. Building strong connections with local businesses and organizations is key to realizing our ambitions here at the Edwardsville YMCA. Our YMCA’s sports programs are already making a positive impact, but with the right support, we could take them to new heights and reach even more young athletes in our community. Every year, we hold two soccer sessions, one in the Fall, and one in the Spring. Over the entire year, we provide an amazing experience for around 2,000 kiddos! This program continues to grow and be one of our largest in the organization!
The reason I have reached out today is to inquire if your business/entity would be interested in helping sponsor our program. Our organization is so grateful for everything you do for our community, and having you represent our program and our mission would mean a lot. Every season, these sponsorships help tremendously as they cover the cost of jerseys for a team. With a $200 sponsorship fee, the logo of your choosing will be printed upon a team’s jerseys both in the Fall of 2025 and in the Spring of 2026. If you have a team or child that you are interested in sponsoring specifically, you can also indicate that on this sheet. We also host Seasonal Sponsor Recognition Days at Plummer Park where we play. There, your organization will be able to promote your business and interact with our soccer families!
