Gymnastics Open Gyms
COME AND PLAY WITH US! The Edwardsville YMCA Gymnastics Department offers different styles of Open Gyms: Baby and Me Open Gyms (Daily Online Sign Up), Preschool Open Play Gym Times (sessional), Open Gym Time! (School age offerings), NEW Adult Open Gymnastics!
SPECAIL OPEN GYM: KIDS NIGHT OUT: Dates TBD
Homeschoolers Open Gym offerings available during the school year. Adaptive Open Gym can be found under adaptive programming.
Baby and Me Open Gym (Ages 0-2)
Get Ready to Giggle, Crawl, Explore and Roll! Our Baby and Me Open Gyms are always held in the Upstairs Preschool Gym and are an unstaffed playtime for families and their little ones! Families can register their children (Ages 0-2) online during one of the open play times. This is offered at our Meyer Center Upstairs Gymnastics room. NO SNACKS should be eaten in room please (water bottle ok), AND NO PERSONS OTHER THAN THE CHILD should be putting their weight on the equipment. Siblings not in the age range should remain outside of the gymnastics room.

NEW! Adult Open Gymnastics
Admit it – the gymnastics room looks fun and you want to try it! Work at your pace with our coaches! Warm up as group and do some beginning pad drills then open gym time! Get fun, fit, and build your flexibility and muscle! No experience is necessary! Must register by evening before the session! Come flip with us!
Saturdays 1:30-2:30 PM! Next one is Oct. 12!!
Must be 18+.
Open Gym Time!
OPEN GYM TIME JUST FOR OUR PROGRESSIVE TUMBLERS AND GYMNASTS!
We will warm up together as a group and then open gym begins! Must be or have been enrolled in our progressive programs within 2024, and be 6 yrs or above. Come practice more of your favorite event or work on the skill you are trying to get! Our coaching staff will be here to assist you!
PRESIDENT’S DAY!! 2/17/25, 10-11:30 AM – Come and practice or burn some fun energy on this day off of school!
EACH participant must register to participate. Space is limited, so reserve ahead of time!

Open Play With Friends Ages 0-4
Come and play with your friends in our preschool gym! Parent must accompany child in this unstaffed/unstructured time in the room. Only students ages 0-4 in room due to safety on equipment concerns, and no snacks in the room. May bring in water bottle. Must register by night before session. Each student should be registered to be in the room. Thank you and have fun!
