Music & Theatre (Ages 0 - 17)

Exposure to the arts from an early age is critical to the cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development of children. Our music and theatre staff share their passion for these arts in classes designed to encourage self-expression and creativity in a nurturing, inclusive environment that promotes literacy and social skills. We want all of our music and theatre stars to shine bright!

VIEW

This is a performance fee (annual Spring performance) for students enrolled in the Winter 1 through Spring sessions of the Jr. Theatre and Theatre programs. This fee includes 4 tickets to the appropriate performance. A ticket is not required for children under 13. Additional tickets are available to purchase online under the drop-down menu visible when processing the performance fee. YMCA Jr. Theatre (ages 6 - 9)

VIEW

This is the perfect introduction to theatre for any young actor. Each week we will participate in exercises and games that will develop all the skills needed for the stage. During this session, the students will work on a performance for May.

YMCA Theatre (Ages 10 - 15)

VIEW

Students in this class will work on acting skills, character development, stage presence and more. Theatre games and improv will be part of the class to spark creativity and share ideas. Students will work on a production to be presented in May.
