Campers will learn to combine skills, present and perform, and camp will culminate in a gymnastics talent show! All participants will receive a medal of participation and will have an opportunity to win placement medals! Great for recreational tumblers and gymnastics, and beginning team level students alike for creativity and fun in presentations!

Note: This camp is not able to drop off and pick up from Summer Day Camp. If enrolling you will need to drop off and pick up your child from this camp.

Give me a Y-M-C-A! Cheer campers will learn the basics of cheer, dance, small stunts, jumps, and tumbling in a fun and uplifting setting! Cheer campers will be grouped by age and not ability and no previous experience is necessary. Camp will culminate with a cheer performance on the last day of class — bring your camera! Thank you for Cheering with the Edwardsville YMCA Gymnastics Department! Must have completed Kindergarten. Students will be grouped by age for rotations.

Gymnastics campers will practice and improve their skills on all 4 Women’s Olympic Events plus, have opportunities to practice skills on the Super Bed Trampoline. Your athlete will have a blast and gain strength and confidence in our gym. Camp to focus on men’s events of rings, high bar, pommel basics, trampoline, floor, and vault, along with fun strength games and training! Come and explore this fun sport with us!

NINJA Campers will develop coordination, total body strength, speed, stamina, agility and balance while climbing, rolling, bounding, swinging and jumping through NINJA style obstacle and games format in a safe and fun environment. This camp is for both boys and girls and NO previous experience is necessary. Campers will be grouped by age and not ability. Come join the fun and jump rope singles, doubles, double-dutch, fun tricks between the ropes and more!  Great for developing timing, stamina, coordination, and JUST PLAIN FUN! Bring water bottle, tennis shoes, and your favorite jump rope if you have one. (We will have some ropes available for use). No flip-flops or bare feet please. Camp will culminate with a Fun Jump Rope Performance!
